Hypothermic Kidney Perfusion Platform
Fully integrated kidney perfusion system with RM4Ⓡ pump + DCX cassette + Waters IGLⓇ Pulsatile Preservation Solution, and remote monitoring IGL-APP all from a single provider.
Clinically proven technology
RM4Ⓡ inherits the Waters Hypothermic Machine Perfusion technology, which is beneficial to marginal donor kidneys, leading to more favorable immediate graft function and delayed graft function compared to static cold storage. Immediate graft function is defined by serum creatinine falls of more than 20% in the first 24 hours post-transplant. Delayed graft function is defined as the need for dialysis within 7 days of transplantation.
Immediate function rate (%) p=0.057

Delayed Graft function (%) p=0.002

Static Cold Storage
RM4®
RM4Ⓡ is a renal perfusion system, designed to support monitoring of either one or two kidneys. The RM4Ⓡ system provides controlled kidney perfusion of hypothermic solution, monitor, display, trend, export and save perfusion parameters, including perfusate flow, temperature, pressure, and renal resistance, as well as the organ identifiers.
RM4Ⓡ Kidney Perfusion System is FDA cleared. DCX organ cassette has received FDA 510(k) clearance.
IGL-App: Remote monitoring of organ perfusion status.

Overview
The gold standard in kidney preservation technology
RM4Ⓡ combines pulsatile hypothermic machine perfusion and integrated active oxygenation to optimize donor kidney viability for 24 hours.

Waters IGL® Pulsatile Perfusion Solution (PPS)
Waters IGL® Pulsatile Perfusion Solution is a clear to slightly yellow solution for the in-vitro flushing and temporary continuous perfusion preservation of explanted kidneys.
Waters IGL® Pulsatile Perfusion Solution is intended to be used for flushing and continuous hypothermic machine perfusion of kidneys at the time of their removal from the donor in preparation for storage, transportation, and eventual transplantation into a recipient.
This solution is consistent with an extracellular solution based on its sodium/potassium ratio. This solution has a calculated osmolality of 300 mOsm/kg, a sodium concentration of 100 mmol/L, a potassium concentration of 25 mmol/L and a pH of 7.4 at 20°C/68°F.
